Matching Employers' Needs with Workers' Aspirations

Wed, Aug 3rd 1:00PM EST

Today’s labor market is contradictory. According to Jake Hirsch-Allen, our guest speaker, “there are both more people looking for jobs and, at the same time, there are more employers looking for people to fill those jobs than there are people who can fill those jobs.”

Workforce development requires career development. It’s crucial to make people more aware of the pathways to better skills and jobs, to inspire and build their confidence that there is a career out there for them.

So how can we match employers’ needs with workers’ aspirations? Let’s find out in this session by chatting with Jake Hirsch-Allen and Marna Lagerquist!.
