I come from a country that doesn’t have a payroll department.An accountant runs the payroll as a very important part of a business.When I attended college here in Canada,I was introduced to payroll. Payroll is an amazing department that acts as a liaison between Accounting and HR to connect these two departments.It’s very important in the career of a payroll specialist to study both to be complete as a professional.I feel that I am part of three departments that can’t function without each other
