Payroll kind of chose me! Working for an accounting firm doing bookkeeping, I eventually started doing payroll, T4's and that made me want to learn more. I enrolled with the National Payroll Institute and got certified as a Payroll Compliance Professional so that I could have a good understanding of how payroll works as the bigger the companies that you do payroll for, the more complexities that come with it.
