I believe personal life & work life are separate & should be treated as such unless I have a really good reason to search social media. I also believe that checking social media could fuel my personal bias which I try really hard to manage during the hiring process, so I'm not going to add that type of information in my decision in case my brain doesn't let me ignore it.
