In our company the HR and Payroll departments are one and the same. I am primarily the payroll manager but I also administer the group benefits and retirements programs. I work with the HR manager and we communicate daily regarding any employee changes, new policies or processes. Communication is key to ensuring any changes that need to be made are done so in a timely and efficient manner.
